AUBURN, Ala. – Adding a second Southeastern Conference transfer to help bolster the 2025 roster, co-head coaches Chris and Kate Malveaux announced the signing of Kylie Brockman on Tuesday.
A catcher from Kansas City, Kansas, Brockman spent her freshman season at Arkansas.
“Kylie will be a great addition to our roster this year,” Chris Malveaux said. “She is a gutsy competitor with a great work ethic. She’s versatile in what she can do defensively and brings a lot of offensive potential to our lineup. She will help in various positions in the infield as well as jump behind the plate. We are so thrilled for her to be an Auburn Tiger!’”
Brockman had limited action during her freshman campaign in Fayetteville, appearing in just nine games. She totaled 10 at-bats, scored twice and drew a pair of walks. Defensively, she turned in a perfect fielding percentage with 29 putouts and a pair of assists.
“Kylie brings a mentality that we are super excited about,” added Kate Malveaux. “Her work ethic and drive suit her well behind the dish and across the infield. She will add solid depth to our offense.”
A highly regarded recruit out of Piper High School, Brockman was ranked No. 19 in Extra Inning Softball’s 2022 Extra Elite 100. She earned Kansas 5A All-State Honorable Mention honors in 2021. She also competed for Select Fastpitch 18U where she filed 14 home runs, 53 RBI and accumulated a 1.135 OPS and .985 fielding percentage.
In addition to her dominance on the softball field, Brockman was a two-time powerlifting state champion and Kansas 5A state runner-up in javelin.
