TAMPA, Fla. — After an outstanding summer season with Tennessee Soccer Club, Auburn’s Anna Haddock was named the USL W League Player of the Year, the league office announced Wednesday.

The midfielder from Bowling Green, Kentucky was a force in the midfield for TSC as she scored 11 goals and assisted on 11 others in nearly 1,000 minutes of competition.

Haddock scored the game-winner in two different 1-0 victories and scored both goals in her squad’s 2-1 win over Birmingham Legion, which clinched a playoff berth.

Under Haddock’s leadership, TSC finished the regular season with a record of 9-1-2 and won its second straight division title. The club advanced to the National Semifinal where Haddock scored from the penalty spot in second-half stoppage time to send the match to extra time.

During the regular season, Haddock was the only W League player to be featured on both the May and June Teams of the Month. After the conclusion of the season, she was named the South Central Divisional Player of the Year and named to the USL W League Team of the Year First Team.

Haddock returns to the collegiate pitch for one final season, leading the Tigers as a third-year captain. Auburn hosts Clemson Aug. 15 at 6:30 p.m. CT to kick off the 2024 season.
