AUBURN, Ala.  Auburn receiver Robert Lewis has been named to the 2024 Biletnikoff Award preseason watch list, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced Wednesday.

A 5-10, 188-pound transfer from Georgia State and native of Covington, Georgia, Lewis earned all-Sun Belt honors last season while setting GSU’s single-game record with 220 receiving yards vs. Charlotte.

In 32 career games at Georgia State, he made 102 receptions for 1,323 yards and 14 touchdowns.

After enrolling at Auburn in January and participating in spring practice, Lewis made a game-high five receptions in the Tigers’ A-Day scrimmage, netting 73 yards.

In its 31st year, the Biletnikoff Award recognizes college football’s outstanding pass catcher, regardless of position.

The award honors Fred Biletnikoff, a consensus All-America receiver at Florida State who played 14 seasons for the Oakland Raiders and was the MVP of Super Bowl XI. Biletnikoff is a member of the pro and college football halls of fame.
