AUBURN, Ala. – In conjunction with PNC Bank and the PNC Achievers program, Auburn unveiled Maddie Prohaska (Soccer) and Justin Stuckey (Men's Track & Field) as the Spring 2024 PNC Achievers on Friday.

“Maddie and Justin consistently represent Auburn at the highest level and are richly deserving of being recognized as PNC Achievers,” athletics director John Cohen said. “Their commitment to excelling in the community, classroom, on campus and in competition serves as an example to all student-athletes.”

Prohaska is the starting goalkeeper for Auburn soccer. She’s a two-time captain and coming into this season, she had started 75 matches for the Tigers going back to 2020. With seven shutouts already this season, including one in Sunday’s 1-0 victory over No. 17 Ohio State, Prohaska has surpassed 30 shutouts for her career.

Off the field, Prohaska has been heavily involved with Auburn’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, serving as the Secretary in 2023-24 and also serving on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee before that. She’s made the SEC Academic Honor Roll in each of the last four years and will graduate with a master’s degree in adult education in December. Last year, she represented Auburn at the NCAA Career in Sports Forum.

Stuckey is a recent graduate of Auburn with a master’s degree in business administration. He competed two seasons for Auburn’s track & field team after transferring in from Samford ahead of the 2023-24 season. Like Prohaska, he served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) as Marketing Chair.

Stuckey has also seen his career in broadcasting take off while at Auburn. He initially worked as a TV anchor for Eagle Eye and started his own podcast, “Stuck In MY Thoughts.” Since then, he’s worked with ESPN College Gameday, Bleacher Report, TNT Sports and served as an on-air interviewer for the NBA Summer League.

The PNC Achievers program celebrates achievement among student-athletes and showcases student success through its honors and recognition program. A male and female student-athlete are recognized each semester for their well-rounded achievement through leadership, academic success, community engagement and in competition.

“PNC is excited for Justin and Maddie as the winners of the Spring 2024 PNC Achievers Awards,” said Nick Willis, regional president for PNC Bank, Greater Alabama. “Their drive to succeed in all facets of life and to forge strong communities as they move through college and beyond is admirable. I'm looking forward to watching their careers grow as they continue to make an impact.”

Prohaska and Stuckey will both be recognized as the Spring 2024 PNC Achievers on the field at Jordan-Hare Stadium prior to the Auburn-Oklahoma football game on Saturday, Sept. 28.
