NAPA, Calif. – Patton Kizzire, a 2008 alum of the Auburn men’s golf program, won his third PGA Tour event Sunday with a dominant, 20-under performance at the Procore Championship hosted by the Silverado Resort in Napa, California.
Kizzire’s third career victory comes nearly seven years after his second. He first won the OHL Classic at Mayakoba in November of 2017 and followed up with another win in January of 2018 at the Sony Open in Hawai’i.
“It feels so good,” Kizzire said. “I’ve worked really hard and to come out and play like I did, and to pull away from the field and keep the pedal down and play like I can play, that was so much fun.”
Another one for the trophy case.

The Tuscaloosa, Alabama native jumped out front following Friday’s second round and kept his foot on the gas to win by five strokes. This week, Kizzire’s magic numbers were 66-65-67-70 (-20). Former Northwestern golfer David Lipsky finished second at 15-under.
While on The Plains, Kizzire most notably became the program’s fourth SEC Individual Champion in 2007, a season where he was also voted First-Team All-SEC. He earned second-team all-conference in 2005.
