Through the Lens: Chipola

We saw a lot of the growth we've had over the fall pay off. We saw some great defensive plays. We saw the offensive start to happen. We see the moments of consistency that we need to keep working on. There are opportunities for growth. There are things we are still learning, but we're trending in the right direction in all areas.

We've been working really hard. It's nice to be able to put our hard work up against other teams. We have a lot of tools that compliment each other very well. As a staff, we're going to work really hard to keep teams off-balanced.

Our pitching staff has shown a lot of maturity. They did exactly what we wanted them to do. As a team, it's been fun to watch the upperclassmen start to talk the game. I'm proud of some of the leadership moments that they are having. That's been one of the bright moments of the weekend.

We got to see a lot of old and new faces providing and doing whatever it takes to be the team that we worked so hard to be. It's great to see all the hard work we've put in the last couple of weeks play out.
