AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn will aim to end the fall portion of its 2024-25 schedule on a high note at The Ally at Old Wavery Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi, this week. The three-round event will take place Monday through Wednesday.

The Tigers enter the tournament after a record-setting performance at the Illini Women’s Invitational, where the team broke the program record for an 18-hole score with a 270 (-18) in the final round. Sophomore Anna Davis also took home the individual title in the event after firing a 13-under 203 to win by three strokes.

The sophomore has not finished lower than second individually through the team’s first three events of the season and has been named SEC Player of the Week twice.

Redshirt junior Casey Weidenfeld also turned heads during the Illini Women’s Invitational, as she extended her streak of consecutive rounds under par to start the season to five after the final round. Weidenfeld’s 54-hole total of 212 (-4) placed her inside the top-20 for the 12th time in her Auburn career.

Freshman Anne Fernandez will be making her collegiate debut at the event, competing as an individual.

Auburn will be joined in the field by No. 5 Mississippi State, No. 11 Vanderbilt, No. 45 Florida, Indiana, Mercer, Old Dominion, UAB, Western Kentucky, Troy, Wisconsin, James Madison, Louisiana-Monroe, Jacksonville State, Southern Miss and Sam Houston State.

This season will mark the Tigers’ third appearance in The Ally after finishing in third place during both the 2020-21 season and the 2021-22 season.

Auburn’s team participants will begin teeing off at 8:30 a.m. CT on the first hole alongside players from Florida and Wisconsin. Live scoring of the event will be available online at scoreboard.clippd.com.
