After a long game last night, we had to get back up in the morning and do it again. I felt like we were able to do that. The way the game is, you can’t say someone is going to get four hits every single game. It doesn’t work like that, but we can control our effort, energy and competitive level as a team and stay after it. We got to see a lot of our younger players and see what they can do. We had some good surprises and things to think about as we continue to move forward.

It’s always a great time playing at Jane B. Moore. I love Auburn. I’m here for a reason. I love my choice of coming here. I always look back and am thankful for the process. I trusted Auburn as much as it trusted me.
