BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Sweeping the springboard events during Auburn’s dual at North Carolina last Friday, freshman Ethan Swart was named SEC Diver of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Swart, the Cicero, Indiana product, has been downright electric in the diving well to begin his career in the Orange and Blue. During last week’s dual in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Swart dialed up career highs on both the 1-meter and 3-meter events. His 324.68 on the 1-meter and 380.55 on the 3-meter were more than enough to secure a pair of individual victories.
The recognition marks the first such honor for Swart and the first weekly award for the Tigers in the 2024-25 season.
Swart and the rest of the swim and dive squad will be back in action at the Georgia Tech Invite Nov. 22-24 in Atlanta, Georgia.
