AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn players will participate in the Wake Forest Invite Friday through Sunday at the Wake Forest Tennis Center in Winston, Salem, North Carolina.

Will Nolan, Nicholas Heng, Thomas Kennedy and Jake Kennedy will be participating in the event for the Tigers. Other teams with players in the field include Virginia, Clemson, NC State, Charlotte, UNC Greensboro, Cleveland State, College of Charleston, Elon, James Madison, North Carolina A&T, NC Central, Tennessee Tech, Furman, Georgia Southern and host school Wake Forest.

Heng and Thomas Kennedy will each enter the tournament sporting a 6-4 singles record. Nolan is 3-3 in singles this season, but is 9-5 in doubles. Nolan and partner Billy Blaydes won five consecutive matches at the ITA Southern Regional Championships including a 7-6 (4), 6-3 win over the top-ranked doubles team in the country, Petar Jovanovic and Benito Sanchez Martinez, in the regional finals.

On Friday, two rounds of doubles will be played starting at 8:30 a.m. CT followed by one round of singles matches. Saturday will begin with one round of doubles matches starting at 8:30 a.m. CT and two rounds of singles to follow. One final round of singles matches will be played on Sunday morning to finish the tournament.
