AUBURN, Ala. – All-Americans, national and state champions and record holders are just some of the many titles the newest members of Auburn softball hold as Chris and Kate Malveaux announced Wednesday their first signing class as co-head coaches of the Tigers.

The seven signees will head to the Plains next fall, joining the program for the 2026 season.

The highly decorated class has combined for four All-America selections, 18 All-State recognitions, four state championships, five conference Player/Pitcher of the Year awards and multiple national championships on the club softball scene. The 2025 class features first baseman Delany Aumua, right-handed pitcher Charley Butler, catcher/first baseman Brityan Godfrey, catcher Ava Ratliff, infielder Haven Roebuck, and first baseman/outfielder Daigle Wilson.

High School: Granada High School

Club Team: Lady Magic Walling

Position: First Base

Bat/Throw: Right/Left

Highlights: Ranked No. 21 recruit in the country by Extra Inning Softball … added a No. 7 ranking from Legacy Legends of Softball … a three-time CIF All-State selection at Granda High School … 2023 NCS Player of the Year … 2023 EBAL Offensive Player of the Year … 2023 Tri Valley Outstanding Athlete of the Year … a two-time All-Metro team selection … has totaled 30 home runs and over 100 RBI in her prep career … competes for Lady Magic Walling on the club scene … 2023 and 2024 PGF All-American Futures selection … ended the 2024 club season with a .418 average, 10 home runs and 30 RBI … also played soccer before focusing on softball …  academically is a principal’s honor selection and was touted Livermore Rotary Student of the Month … member of the High School ASB Leadership team … was selected class president as a sophomore, junior and senior

Strength and explosiveness are synonymous with the name Delaney Aumua. She carries herself with quiet confidence, allowing her play to speak for itself. We are excited to see how Delaney will develop in our offensive and defensive systems.

Highlights: 2023 and 2024 Big Bend Pitcher of the Year … a three-time All-State selection … posted 46 career wins, 1.32 career earned run average and 699 career strikeouts in her prep career at Wakulla … competes for Tampa Mustang Rene 18U club team … earned Pitcher of the Tournament at the 2023 Top 25 and 2024 Show Me the Money tournaments … also competes in cross country and previously in volleyball and weightlifting … Word Press certified editor and academically takes honors, AP and dual enrollment courses

We’re looking to bring some help in the circle with the addition of Charley. She has competed at a high level and will look to continue to do so. From a family of athletes, Charley is no stranger to competition. We look forward to her experience and leadership to help this team out the gate.

Highlights: Ranked in the top 36 in the country for utility athletes in the 2025 class .... 2024 First Team All-Conference selection … 2024 Wisconsin Fastpitch Coaches Association’s First Team All-State honoree … three-time Superior Telegram All-Area selection … added All-District First Team honors … closed junior season with a .620 average with 44 hits, including 12 doubles, four triples and eight home runs … also amassed 43 RBI … competes for Beverly Bandits Conroy on the club season … closes her latest club season with a .513 batting average, 35 RBI and 12 home runs … also wrestled her junior year at Superior … member of the Honor Roll as a freshman and the High Honor Roll in her sophomore and junior years … academically is in the top 10% of her high school class

We’re excited to have Melania join our program. She will bring a lot of toughness and versatility to the roster. She plays physical on the field and brings some big offensive power potential to the lineup. We look for Melania to ply an immediate role on the team.

Highlights: 2023 and 2024 Conference Player of the Year … Three-Time 3A All-Conference selection … 2023 and 2024 District Player of the Year … earned All-State selection in 2024 … tabbed Female Athlete of the Spring for South Central High School … added Offensive Player of the Year accolades … ranked 10th in the state of North Carolina with 11 home runs … added 43 RBI, which ranked 11th in North Carolina … also ranked in the top 16 in the state in runs scored (43) and slugging percentage (1.362) … competed for Nationals Batts 18U club team … totaled 26 hits, including seven home runs, 21 RBI, 22 runs scored and a 1.266 OPS in her latest club season … also played volleyball as a libero/outside hitter … academically is a member of the National Honor Society, National Art Society, National Math and Science Society, Health Science Academy and is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

We are thrilled to add some fire and competitiveness to the roster with the addition of Haven. She’s an incredible athlete and loves to play with an edge. She can play all over the field. We’re looking for her to have an immediate impact, especially in the middle infield. She comes from an incredible family, and we can’t wait for her to get here.

Highlights: Ranked the No. 22 recruit in the country by Prep Softball … tabbed the No. 20 recruit by Perfect Game … selected the No. 21 overall recruit and No. 2 at first base by Extra Inning Softball …. a four-time softball state champion at Orange Beach High School … 2024 Maxpreps National Champion … honored as an Alabama All-State selection four consecutive seasons … selected as an Alabama North/South All-Star in 2024 … has ranked in the top five in the state of Alabama in stolen bases for the last three seasons, including finishing second in the state in 2024 … won the 2021 and 2022 PGF National Championship with the Birmingham Thunderbolts … also is a member of the Orange Beach bowling team … member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes … her older brother, Chandler, currently plays football at ULM

Daigle is a strong asset to our program. An in-state gem with true speed and numerous state championships under her belt, she brings a competitiveness that will keep propelling Auburn softball forward.
