AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn men’s basketball program inked two talented four-star guards during the early signing period.

Kaden Magwood, a 6-foot-2, 170-pound guard from Louisville, K.Y., and Simon Walker, a 6-foot-4, 175-pound guard from Huntsville, Ala., will join the Tigers for the 2025-26 season.

Magwood was rated the No. 60 overall player in the Class of 2025 by 247Sports. The four-star recruit currently plays at Combine Academy in Lincolnton, N.C., which is part of the Overtime Elite league. He also played travel basketball for Team Loaded on the adidas circuit this past summer.

“Kaden is a really dynamic offensive player who can score at all three levels,” Pearl said. “He can play with and without the ball. He has quickness, speed and athleticism that can affect the game on both ends. He also has a great feel for the game.”

He began his career at Western High School averaging 13.7 points per game and shooting 51.6 percent from 3-point range as a freshman. He helped the Warriors to a 23-5 overall record and semifinal appearance in the district tournament.

Magwood then transferred to the prestigious Oak Hill Academy for his sophomore and junior years to play under head coach Yerrick Stoneman in Mouth of Wilson, Va. He was invited to the 2024 NBPA Top 100 Camp in Orlando, Fla., where he was among the camp’s leaders averaging 17 points and 3.4 assists per contest.

Rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports, Walker was the No. 2 player in the state of Alabama and invited to play in the NBPA Top 100 Camp this summer.

“Simon has been coming to our basketball camps since he was a freshman in high school,” Pearl said. “He has worked so hard to develop into a high-major college basketball player. He is a really solid defender, great communicator and has great range on his 3-point shot. His mental and physical toughness serves him well.”

Last season, Walker earned all-state honors averaging 11 points, four rebounds and 3 assists per game as a junior at Class 7A Huntsville High School. The Panthers won a school-record 32 games under head coach Christian Schweers. He also played travel basketball with ProOne on the Under Armour circuit.
