Q: Why Auburn?
A: “I just loved it when I visited! It feels like home and the people here are so great!”
Q: What is your major, and what are your plans to do with it after college?
A: “I am a pre-nursing major and will apply to the nursing program next fall. After college, I hope to work as a nurse in the OB-GYN field or become a nurse practitioner.”
Q: How are you balancing your first year being a student-athlete?
A: “I think it's been tough, but I have started to figure out what works for me regarding studying and a schedule. Anyone who knows me knows I am not great at time management. I also overload my schedule which makes it 10 times harder. All that aside, being a student-athlete has forced me to be better at my time management which has been a learning curve but an important one!”
Q: What are you most looking forward to heading into your spring season?
A: “I’m really excited for the home meets we have in the spring as well as SECs and nationals! The older girls talk about how fun they are so I’m excited to experience it!”
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Auburn?
A: “Venditori’s for sure!”
Q: When and why did you start riding horses?
A: “I started riding when I was eight! I started after one of my friends from school told me she had started riding. I went to a birthday party with horses, and it was up from there!”
Q: Favorite Auburn horse to ride?
A: “My favorite Auburn horse is Herbie!”
Q: Being from Chapel Hill, was it an easier adjustment to college life after living in a college town?
A: “Being from a college town prepared me for all the activities in Auburn. Gameday festivities, how many people come to Auburn for events feels very similar to home. Auburn quickly felt like home to me!”
Q: How would your friends and family describe you in three words?
A: “They would probably say: independent, caring, and hard-working”
Q: What do you hope to accomplish while on the team?
A: “I hope to be a part of something bigger than myself, support my teammates in every way they could need, make the team better than when I got here, and win some rings!!”
Q: Favorite movie?
A: “Ratatouille!”
Q: What does “War Eagle” mean to you?
A: “‘War Eagle’ is more than just a battle cry, when the Auburn Family says it, it reminds you that you are a part of a bigger picture.”
Q: What would you tell your younger self?
A: “I would say to keep working hard towards your goals, it will pay off and make you a better person in the long run.”
