AUBURN, Ala. – Four first-year Tigers – receiver Cam Coleman, offensive lineman Bradyn Joiner, linebacker Demarcus Riddick and defensive back Jay Crawford – have been named to the Freshman All-SEC Team, the Southeastern Conference announced Thursday.
Auburn, Florida and Tennessee are the only programs to have four honorees on the Freshman All-SEC Team, which is selected by the league’s coaches.
A true freshman from Phenix City, Alabama, Coleman caught 37 passes for 598 yards and eight touchdowns, ranking third in program history among newcomers for receiving yardage.
Coleman ended his first season in exceptional fashion with 22 receptions, 306 receiving yards and six touchdowns in Auburn’s final three games.
