AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn men’s tennis has signed Mats Bredschneijder, head coach Bobby Reynolds announced on Tuesday. Bredschneijder will join the team prior to the spring 2025 season.
“I look forward to having Mats join our team this spring,” said Auburn head coach Bobby Reynolds. “Mats has so much untapped potential and I am excited for his development and contributions over the next few years. His personality and work ethic were the qualities that struck me immediately and I can’t wait to have him wearing him orange and blue soon.”

Bredschneijder will come to the Plains from the Netherlands and the village of Oosthuizen in North Holland. The Dutchman earned his first ATP points earlier this year at the M25 Brussels and is ranked as a top-20 player in Holland.
Bredschneijder joins Russian standout Amirkhamza Nasridinov in this year’s signing class and both players will join the Tigers squad in January.
