Gymnastics Rankings: Week 5

AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn gymnastics team moved up a spot to No. 14 in this week's RoadToNationals.com rankings.
 
The team's current average bumped up to 196.950 after scoring a season-high 197.425 last Friday against Fisk, Talladega, and Temple. Auburn stays home this week, hosting rival and No. 7 Alabama in Neville Arena. The teams will face off at 8 p.m. CT on SEC Network+.
 
Oklahoma remains at No. 1 with a 198.045 average. California is No. 2 at 197.700, while LSU (197.590), Utah (197.485), and Kentucky (197.480) round out the top five. The rest of the Southeastern Conference is among the top 20 – Florida (No. 6), Alabama (No. 7), Missouri (No. 12), Arkansas (No. 13), and Georgia (No. 19).
 
Auburn's beam squad is ranked seventh nationally with a 49.205 average. The floor crew moved up to 12th with a 49.385. Bars is 15th at 49.175 and vault is 17th (49.185).


Individually, fifth-year Cassie Stevens rose to No. 17 in the all-around with a 39.460 average and is 27th nationally in vault with a 9.870 average. Senior Olivia Hollingsworth is ranked No. 35 in the all-around with a 39.305 mark.
 
Senior Gabby Mclaughlin moved up to 11th nationally on beam after scoring a 9.9250 on Friday, having a 9.900 average.
