Q: Why Auburn?
A: “When applying for college Auburn students continued to talk about the Auburn family and the atmosphere the college itself has. I instantly was drawn to Auburn as it had everything and more that I was looking for.”

Q: What is your major, and what are your plans to do with it after college?
A: “I am majoring in marketing and plan to use my major in the equine industry by developing innovative strategies to promote equine-related businesses, products, and services.”

Q: How are you balancing your first year being a student-athlete?
A: “Our staff gives us unlimited resources to succeed academically, physically and mentally along with great teammates who are willing to step in and help outside of the ring.”

Q: What are you most looking forward to heading into your spring season?
A: “Heading into the spring season I am looking forward to continuing to grow friendships with my teammates, experience and celebrate our wins but also grow from our challenges together.”

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Auburn?
A: “Botanic.”

Q: When and why did you start riding horses?
A: “I started riding horses when I was five. My best friend Haley that I had met in kindergarten had owned horses and we would spend hours at the barn together when growing up.”

Q: What does “War Eagle” mean to you?
A: “The saying of ‘War Eagle’ I believe is a way to bring our community together and is a symbolism of the Auburn family that was created.”

Q: What do you hope to accomplish while on the team?
A: “I plan to become a more coachable and adjustable rider while continuously growing into someone your team can rely on and trust.”

Q: What would you tell your younger self?
A: “Accepting what you can’t change and focusing on what you can is where your growth happens. Continue to keep pushing forward, even on your bad days, every step makes you stronger and brings you closer to where you’re meant to be.

Q: If you had a weekend off to go anywhere, where would you go?
A: “I would go home to visit my friends who I haven’t been able to be with since going to Auburn.”
