LA JOLLA, Calif. – Auburn men’s golf sophomore Jackson Koivun competes in this third PGA Tour event this week at the Farmers Insurance Open, which is set for Jan. 22-25 at Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, California.
Koivun tees off at 1:02 p.m. CT on the first tee of the South Course alongside Niklas Norgaard (Denmark) and Kevin Velo (San Jose State).
The Chapel Hill, North Carolina native first made his Tour debut last June at The Memorial at Muirfield Village, where he made the cut and posted a final score of 18-over 306. Later that month, Koivun played in the Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club, where two rounds at even par (72) were not enough to see the weekend.
