BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – For the fifth time of his career, Auburn All-American Johni Broome (Plant City, Fla.) was selected as Southeastern Conference Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday.

The 6-foot-10, 240-pound senior forward/center led the top-ranked Tigers to a 53-51 win over No. 6 Tennessee at Neville Arena. He recorded a game-high 16 points, 14 rebounds, four blocks and two steals versus the Volunteers. It marked his 71st career double-double performance.
