AUBURN, Ala. – In advance of Auburn baseball’s Opening Weekend on The Plains vs. Holy Cross from Feb. 14-16, please note several enhancements made to improve the gameday experience at Plainsman Park this season.
Since the conclusion of last season, the ballpark underwent its most robust renovation since its construction in 1996 and now features multiple premium club spaces and expanded general admission areas, among other enhancements, which allows fans of all types to take in a game at Plainsman Park like never before.
UNDERSTANDING NEW TICKET TYPES
GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET
A general admission ticket provides access for the ticket holder to all non-reserved areas of Plainsman Park, including the new War Eagle Wall and Plainsman Patio as well as the expanded Tiger Terrace. It does not provide access to any reserved chairback seat within the ballpark.
RESERVED TICKET
A reserved ticket provides access for the ticket holder to a specific chairback seat within Plainsman Park’s general seating bowl or within a designated club area. It also provides access to enjoy the general admission areas within the ballpark or to any club area.
ACCESS PASS
An access pass provides access for the ticket holder to enjoy the amenities of a designated club area but does not provide admission to the ballpark or a seat within the club area. The ticket holder must also have a reserved ticket or a general admission ticket in addition to the access pass.
All three ticket types can be purchased here.
NEW AND EXPANDED GENERAL ADMISSION AREAS
Plainsman Park now features multiple new and expanded general admission areas for 2025, including some of the most unique experiences in college baseball.
PLAINSMAN PATIO
Located down the first base line, the expanded Plainsman Patio space features a large viewing space with seating, high-top tables and a Fast Flight Grab-N-Go concessions market with a new and improved menu.
WAR EAGLE WALL
Creating one of the most unique viewing experiences in college baseball, a standing-room-only, two-tiered general admission area now exists atop the War Eagle Wall in left field. Fans can access the top of the wall via stairs or a ramp located at the end of the left field concourse.
TIGER TERRACE
The renovated and expanded Tiger Terrace now includes three general admission tiers of paved terrace space inside the ballpark in addition to an expansion of the top level with the inclusion of a large green space with expanded concessions opportunities, which was previously outside the ballpark. Each of these areas provides opportunities for fans to bring their own tailgate chairs to enjoy the game from their own provided seat. Tailgate chairs may not be taken to any other areas of the ballpark.
TERRACE BOXES
The lower tier of Tiger Terrace now features nine sold out Terrace Boxes, which are equipped with soft seating, drink rail viewing areas, Traeger pellet grills, refrigerators and more.
NEW RESERVED CLUB AREAS
Along with the Hall of Fame Club that debuted prior to last season, Plainsman Park now features two additional new premium club spaces for 2025 – the Broadway Club at Plainsman Park and the 984 Club. Each of the new spaces are fully sold out entering the 2025 season.
BROADWAY CLUB AT PLAINSMAN PARK
The exclusive new Broadway Club at Plainsman Park, named in honor of a generous gift from 1991 Auburn University alumnus and accounting graduate Bob Broadway, sits high above home plate and provides 40 fans with a private interior and exterior club space with high-end finishes, elevated food and drink offerings and the ballpark’s premier view.
984 CLUB
The 984 Club, named for the distance in mileage from Plainsman Park to Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska, sits above the Plainsman Patio down the first base line and honors Auburn Baseball’s six College World Series teams. The new club experience includes a climate-controlled interior space with seating areas, drink rails and food and drink offerings, as well as plush exterior seating.
HALL OF FAME CLUB
A tribute to Auburn, Southeastern Conference and Major League Baseball great Frank Thomas, who is the first player from the SEC enshrined in the National Baseball Hall of Fame, the Hall of Fame Club was introduced for the 2024 season and provides premium seats and standing room space at field level. Divided between two tiered rows located as close as 40 feet from home plate, the Hall of Fame Club reserved seats are made of high-end leather and offer a dynamic field-level view of the action at Plainsman Park. The space also features a 3,000-square-foot climate-controlled club area with food, drinks, televisions, restrooms, and indoor seating.
In addition to the 108 reserved seats within the field-level seating space, the Hall of Fame Club also offers a limited number of access pass opportunities for each game, which provide patrons with the opportunity to enjoy the food and beverage amenities of the space, while watching the game from a standing-room-only drink rail behind the second row of seats.
EXPANDED STUDENT VIEWING OPPORTUNITIES
Beginning this season, there are more options than ever for students to enjoy a game at Plainsman Park. With the additions of the two-tiered War Eagle Wall in left field, the all new Plainsman Patio on the first base line and an expanded Tiger Terrace, options abound for Auburn students. Additionally, the first five rows of section 111 will also always be available as reserved seating options for students. For students who would rather enjoy a game from outside the ballpark, the Back Forty Deck presented by the Auburn Bookstore in right field also remains an option. Chairs are not permitted on the deck, but personal-sized coolers are allowed.
While students previously were only able to enter Plainsman Park through the Home Plate Gates, students may now enter the ballpark by scanning their Mobile Tiger ID at any point of entry.
EXPANDED CONCESSION OPTIONS
SODA REFILL STATIONS
All fountain drinks at Plainsman Park will now provide unlimited same-game refills for all fans. Each concessions stand will now provide the opportunity to purchase a refillable souvenir soda, which can be filled at any of the three new refill points within Plainsman Park – located on the Home Plate Concourse, lower First Base Concourse, or on Plainsman Patio.
FAST FLIGHT GRAB-N-GO CONCESSIONS
A new Fast Flight Grab-N-Go concessions market with an expanded food and drink menu is now located on Plainsman Patio down the first base line. The location will offer burgers, chicken tenders, fries and other traditional ballpark fare along with wraps and healthy food options. It will include a wide variety of bottled drinks and features a walk-in craft Bodda Getta Beer Cave with a wide selection of beer options.
The concessions stand located within the Home Plate Concourse will also now feature the Fast Flight Grab-N-Go concessions experience, which provides expanded food and beverage offerings and an expedited shopping experience designed to get fans back to their seats as quickly as possible.
ADDITIONAL FOOD & BEVERAGE OPTIONS
Ben’s Pretzels and Chick-Fil-A will also now have an expanded presence at Plainsman Park, featuring new locations on the lower First Base Concourse located beneath Plainsman Patio, in addition to their previous stands located near the ballpark’s main entry within the Home Plate Concourse.
Additional concessions opportunities will also be available atop the new War Eagle Wall, and in the expanded grass area at the top of Tiger Terrace, with additional options coming to Tiger Terrace in March.
NEW ENTRANCES
In an effort to expedite fan entry to Plainsman Park, two new entrances have now been introduced on the lower First Base Concourse, along Donahue Drive. These entrances will provide efficient ballpark access for fans parking in the Coliseum Lot. The traditional Home Plate Concourse and Tiger Terrace gates will continue to provide stadium admission, as well as the premium entrance outside of the Hall of Fame Club for those with reserved seats inside the Hall of Fame Club.
Consistent with other Auburn Athletics venues, fans entering any gate at Plainsman Park this season will be asked to walk through a metal detector upon entry.
ADDITIONAL ENHANCEMENTS
Two expanded Auburn Team Shops will exist on Plainsman Patio and within the Home Plate Concourse to provide fans with additional shopping options for Auburn baseball-branded merchandise.
A new state-of-the-art sound system will be utilized to enhance the audio and video capabilities at the ballpark.
