STATESBORO, Ga. — Auburn men's golfers Evan Vo and Tyler Spielman wrapped up play at the Thomas Sharkey Individual Sunday, finishing tied for 12th and tied for 33rd, respectively, at the Georgia Southern University Golf Course in Statesboro, Georgia.
"Both of our guys did a good job of hagining in there this weekend, especially on the 36-hole day, which was a grind," assistant coach Buddy Alexander said. "There were times they didn't have their best stuff, but they hung in there. I'm proud of the fight as both guys competed on every shot. Every tournament is a learning experience, and getting better is what it's all about at this point in the season."
Vo shot 73-70-74 to finish at 1-over 217. The junior made nine birdies, including a weekend-high four in the middle round.
Spielman finished at 8-over 224 by way of 74-76-74 scorecards.
