- Collected a season-high three hits and matched a season high with four RBI in the series opener vs. Wright State, marking his ninth games in an Auburn uniform with four or more RBI.

- Escaped a bases-loaded jam with a double play in the first inning and faced one over the minimum with six of his seven strikeouts in his next four frames.
- Worked a 1-2-3 second and fifth innings with a pair of strikeouts.

- After Troy jumped out with five runs on seven hits in the first five outs of the game, Sanders entered and settled things down with 2.1 innings pitched.

- Made his second appearance of the weekend in the series-clinching win vs. Wright State and earned his first collegiate victory with 2.1 scoreless innings.

- Gave up a two-run home run on the fourth pitch of his collegiate debut but responded by striking out eight of the next 11 batters he faced, holding North Alabama scoreless the rest of his outing.
- Allowed just two more hits the rest of his 5.0 innings pitched and struck out nine batters in his Auburn debut.
- Struck out the side on 11 pitches in his second inning of work.
- His nine strikeouts were the most by an Auburn freshman pitcher since Keegan Thompson struck out 10 vs. Texas A&M on Mar. 15, 2014.

Auburn led the league with a .371 average for the week, including a .423 average in the three games vs. Wright State … the Tigers scored 44 runs on 59 hits, good for the second most hits in the league during the week … six players turned in an average of .350 or higher in the five-game week and six also hit .400 or higher in the three-game series … 31 of the runs and 41 of the hits came in the weekend series vs. the Raiders … the 41 hits in the series were the most since collecting 50 hits in three games at Ole Miss from May 12-13, 2023 … the four home runs in the series finale were tied for the most homers in a game since hitting five at South Carolina on Apr. 30, 2023 … the team’s pitching staff turned in a 2.85 ERA with 51 strikeouts in 41.0 innings during the week … from the fourth inning Tuesday through the fourth inning Sunday, Auburn pitchers allowed three runs in 33.0 innings – good for a 0.82 ERA … during that stretch, Auburn relievers didn’t allow a run in 15.2 innings pitched and struck out 22 batters with four walks … the 15 strikeouts vs. North Alabama were the most in a game since striking out 16 vs. Stanford in the 2022 College World Series … the 11-0 shutout in the series opener against Wright State was the team’s first since beating Missouri 4-0 on May 19, 2023 … defensively, Auburn committed two errors in 41.0 innings, good for a .988 fielding percentage, and turned seven double plays, tied for the most in the league … with the sweep, the Tigers improve to 26-5 in non-conference play since the beginning of last season … the week marked Auburn’s first 5-0 week since 2022.
