- Entered the game in the sixth inning with the potential tying run in scoring position and needed just five pitches to get out of the inning without further damage.
- Twenty-five of the 35 pitches he offered were for strikes.

Auburn claimed its sixth straight series dating back to the end of the 2024 season by taking two of three games against Old Dominion … the team hit .321 (35-for-109) with double-digit hits in each of the three contests against the Monarchs … it marked the third straight weekend the Tigers have turned in an average of .316 or higher … it also marked the eighth, ninth and 10th times this season the team has collected 10 or more hits in a game … Auburn enters the week ranked in the top 25 in the country in average (.329), hits (176), home runs (24), on-base percentage (.443) … the pitching staff struck out 35 batters in 27.0 innings, including a season-high 16 strikeouts in the middle game against Old Dominion … the 16 strikeouts were the most in a game since also striking out 16 against Stanford in the 2022 College World Series … defensively, Auburn turned in a .991 fielding percentage on the weekend – one error in 109 total chances … the team ranks third in the country in double plays (17) and 17th in fielding percentage (.982) this season.
