  • Struck out multiple batters in the first, third, fourth and fifth innings and retired the last 10 batters he faced.

  • Struck out his ninth and final batter to start a clean fifth inning, marking his second 1-2-3 frame of the game after striking out the side in order in the third.
  • His nine strikeouts matched a season high by an Auburn pitcher this season and tied fellow freshman Andreas Alvarez for the most by an Auburn freshman since 2014.
