LAS VEGAS — No. 2 Auburn men's golf sits in first with a three-stroke lead following Monday's middle round of the Southern Highlands Collegiate thanks to another impressive outing by sophomore Josiah Gilbert.
Gilbert carded a 3-under 69 to bring his weekly score to 5-under. He ranks second individually, trailing only UNLV's Caden Fioroni by five.
Three other Tigers sit inside the top ten heading into Tuesday's finale. Senior Ryan Eshleman (E) is in fifth, senior Carson Bacha (+1) is in sixth and senior Brendan Valdes (+2) is in eighth. Freshman Billy Davis holds at 10-over.
