Auburn sophomore Anna Davis concluded her time at the NCAA Championship on Sunday evening at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa Champions Course in Carlsbad, California. Davis shot 8-over (224) and missed the 54-hole cut by not being one of the top nine individuals not on an advancing team.
The Auburn sophomore recorded three birdies in her opening round on Friday and carded an even par 72. Davis then shot 76 (+4) in each of the next two rounds.
Davis earned the opportunity to compete for the individual championship after finishing as the top individual not on an advancing team at the NCAA Gold Canyon Regional. She shot a 1-under 215, highlighted by an opening-round 69.
Davis has now competed in the NCAA Championship in each of the last two seasons. In 2024, Davis tied for 19th place in the stroke play portion of the NCAA Championship at Omni La Costa, shooting a 292 (+4) and helping lead the Tigers to the match play portion of the event.
