CHICAGO — Rising junior Olivia Woodson has been selected to attend the United States Women’s National Team U20 Training Camp set for May 26 – June 2 in Fayetteville, Georgia.
“I am beyond excited and grateful to have the opportunity to further develop and learn from top coaches while representing Auburn,” Woodson said. “My goal is not only to leave an impression but also to take away information that will help me take my game to the next level.”
In the fall of 2024, Woodson had a breakout sophomore campaign, leading the Tigers’ potent attack with 25 points on 11 goals and a trio of assists. The Richmond, Virginia product finished the year as the first Auburn woman in nearly a decade to score 10+ times in a season.
Woodson lit up back lines all season long, including bagging a game-winner at home against No. 17 Ohio State, but was particularly impressive on the road as eight of her 11 goals came in matches contested away from the Auburn Soccer Complex.
The U20 training camp roster is composed of 24 top prospects, all born in 2005. Woodson is one of four players from the Southeastern Conference invited to the camp, joining Katie Shea Collins of South Carolina, Melina Rebimbas of Alabama and Kiera Staude of Georgia.
