  • Turned in 6.0 scoreless innings and registered a season-high 10 strikeouts in the midweek win against Samford, retiring 18 of the 19 batters he faced to help lead Auburn to its fifth shutout of the season.
  • His 10 strikeouts were tied for the most by an Auburn pitcher this season and were the most by an Auburn freshman since Keegan Thompson in 2014.
  • Turned around five days later and pitched 3.0 scoreless innings to start the series finale at No. 7 Tennessee, earning the win in the series clincher.
  • Faced just one batter over the minimum against the Volunteers, retiring 26 of the 29 batters he faced for the week.
  • Hasn’t allowed an earned run in 20.1 innings pitched dating back to his start at Georgia Tech on Apr. 8.

  • Turned in his sixth quality start of the season, including his fourth in his last five SEC starts, and earned the win in the series opener at Tennessee.
  • Retired the first 13 Volunteers he faced with six strikeouts before allowing a one-out single in the fifth inning.
  • Allowed just two baserunners in his first six innings of work before back-to-back doubles in the seventh inning ended his outing.
  • Is 3-0 with a 1.44 ERA with 36 strikeouts and five walks in 31.1 innings pitched in his last five starts.
  • Enters week nine of SEC play ranked second in the league in ERA (2.37), tied for fourth in innings pitched (68.1) and ninth in strikeout (81).
