AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn junior Rayshawn Pleasant has been named to the 2025 Walter Camp Preseason FBS All-America Team, the Walter Camp Football Foundation announced Tuesday.
A junior transfer from Tulane, Pleasant earned second team preseason honors as a kick returner after averaging a Tulane-record 34.5 yards per kick return last season while earning Sporting News first team and Walter Camp second team recognition as a kick returner.
Pleasant, who joined Auburn’s program after spring practice, played 13 games for the Green Wave last season, recording 35 tackles.
He returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown in Tulane’s 2024 season opener against Southeastern Louisiana.
Of Pleasant’s 13 kick returns last season, he returned two for touchdowns. He played nine games as a redshirt freshman in 2023, making five tackles.
The Southeastern Conference has the most schools (12) and players (16) on the 2025 preseason team, followed by the Big Ten (9 schools, 15 players). The Atlantic Coast Conference has nine players from six of its member schools.
