AUBURN, Ala.Senior right-handed pitcher Parker Carlson has agreed to terms with the New York Mets, becoming the 10th member of the 2025 Tigers to get an opportunity in professional baseball.

Seven of the 10 former Tigers are pitchers, expanding on the program record for pitchers put into professional baseball in a single year.

Carlson turned in a 3-1 record with a save and a 4.28 ERA his senior season. He made 17 appearances and recorded 29 strikeouts with just five walks in 27.1 innings pitched.

A four-year member of the Orange and Blue, Carlson pitched in 59 games in his Auburn career, including a team-high 39 games in his final two seasons. He turned in eight career wins with three saves and registered 82 strikeouts in 74.2 innings.
