AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn junior Anna Davis has been named to the 2025-26 ANNIKA Award Preseason Watch List, the Haskins Foundation announced Monday. Davis is one of 25 players on the prestigious list and has now been featured on the preseason watch list for two consecutive seasons.
In her second season of college golf, Davis earned second-team All-America honors from the WGCA and Golfweek, as well as first-team All-SEC recognition. During the 2024-25 campaign, she also won the Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate Invitational with a program-record 54-hole score of 201 (9-under), which included a bogey-free 64 in the final round. Davis also claimed the individual title at the Illini Invitational at Medinah in the fall after carding a 203 (13-under).
The Auburn standout earned the opportunity to compete in the 2025 NCAA Championship as an individual through her performance at the NCAA Gold Canyon Regional.
Davis led the Tigers in scoring average (70.41), rounds under par (13), birdies (91) and eagles (5) last season.
Created in 2014, the ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel is given annually to the top female Division I collegiate golfer. The winner is voted on by players, coaches and members of the college golf media. Named for Annika Sorenstam, the award was created in partnership with the Haskins Foundation to acknowledge the top female golfer and to match the Haskins Award presented by Stifel, which recognizes the top male Division I collegiate golfer.
Since its formation in 1971, the Haskins Foundation has been devoted to amateur golf and the presentation of the Haskins Award. The trophy honors the year’s outstanding college golfer and the memory of Fred Haskins, a club professional who spent his life nurturing and mentoring amateur golfers. The foundation, based in Columbus, Georgia, oversees the voting for the Haskins and ANNIKA Awards conducted among college golfers, coaches, past winners and members of the college golf media.
