BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Three Auburn Volleyball matches have been selected for national television, the Southeastern Conference announced Thursday.
The Tigers’ SEC opener against rival Alabama on Sept. 26 will open the slate for the 2025 campaign. A month later, the Orange and Blue will be back on network television for a bout with Arkansas on Oct. 22. The Tigers will round out their network features at Oklahoma on Oct. 26.
All three matches will be broadcast live on the SEC Network.
Head coach Brent Crouch and Co. will host the annual Orange and Blue scrimmage on Aug. 17 at 2 p.m. CT. Admission is free.
Auburn will officially open the season on Aug. 29 at Louisville as part of the Cardinal Classic. The Tigers’ home opener is scheduled for Sept. 3 when the Orange and Blue host in-state foe Troy.
SEC Volleyball on ESPN
The Southeastern Conference will have 50 regular-season volleyball matches appear on ESPN platforms for the 2025 season.
ESPN continues to be the industry-leader in women’s sports, with a stacked fall volleyball lineup setting up the 2025-26 collegiate campaign. Five teams start this season’s campaign ranked within the Top 25 of the AVCA Coaches Poll: No. 5 Texas, No. 7 Kentucky, No. 9 Texas A&M, No. 16 Florida and No. 17 Missouri.
To prepare viewers for this season’s action, SEC Network is set to air a one-hour volleyball preview show on Friday, August 15 at 7 p.m. ET. Peter Burns will host the one-hour SEC Now, joined by volleyball analysts and former all-stars Missy Whittemore and Leah Edmond.
The season jumpstarts with the AVCA First Serve Showcase in Lincoln, Neb. on Aug. 24, with four perennial powerhouses taking the court. 2024 National Semifinalist Pittsburgh takes on Florida at 1 p.m. ET, followed by Stanford vs. host and National Semifinalist Nebraska at 3:30 p.m., with both matches airing on ESPN. New this season, ESPN will produce a studio show between matches to cover all the action from Lincoln.
SEC Network’s volleyball schedule will serve up nearly 30 regular season matches in addition to the entire SEC Volleyball Tournament. The 2025 slate begins with Vanderbilt’s inaugural home volleyball match against Belmont on Friday, August 29 at 8 p.m. ET.
Volleyball conference matches will air weekly on SEC Network on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays beginning on Wednesday, September 24. On Wednesdays, SEC Now will host a half-hour preview show prior to the 7 p.m. ET match of the week.
For the first time in two decades, the Southeastern Conference will once again host a conference tournament, which will air in its entirety on SEC Network/SEC Network+. The 2025 SEC Volleyball Tournament will take place at Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Ga. from November 21-25.
