AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn will kick off its fall slate at the Blue-Gray National Tennis Classic Friday through Sunday at Lagoon Park Tennis Center in Montgomery, Alabama. Natalie Outcalt, Alice Battesti and Ava Esposito will each represent the Tigers in the event.

Each team’s players will be split into two pairs. Battesti and Esposito will compete together while Outcalt will partner with Indi Patel of LSU. Each pair will compete against each other in a doubles match followed by two singles matches. The two players that win two of the three matches will advance in the draw.

On Friday, Esposito and Battesti will face Kinaa Graham and Addison Lanton of LSU in the first round of the tournament while Outcalt and Patel will kick off the tournament against Nera Tesankic and Emma Ascanio of UAB.

Auburn will be joined in the event with players from Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Jacksonville State, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and UAB.

Live scoring of the tournament will be available at bluegraytennis.com and results will be made available at wearecollegetennis.com.

The Blue-Gray National Tennis Classic has been played for over 70 years. For the first time in 30 years, the event will be played as a fall individual event rather than a spring team event. The Auburn women’s tennis team has not participated in the tournament since 2020.
