Braden Smith helped lead the Indianapolis Colts to a 2-0 start as he played a pivotal role in paving the way for nearly 500 yards of total offense in a last-second win against the Denver Broncos.

That and more in this week’s Auburn Made NFL rundown.

Daniel Carlson, K, Las Vegas Raiders

Carlson accounted for every point for the Raiders in their Monday Night Football loss to the Chargers, going 3-for-3 on the night with a 54-yard, 40-yard, and 37-yard field goal. Carlson is second all-time in field goals made for the Raiders and has a career 87.4 field goal percent rate in nine NFL season. He is tied for sixth this year in made field goals with five, and he has finished in the top six for made field goals in four of the last five seasons.

Roger McCreary, CB, Tennessee Titans

Having yet to miss a tackle this season, he ranks as the eighth-best run defensive corner in the league with a grade of 80.7 and is the ninth-best cover corner with a grade of 78.1. Through two weeks, McCreary has allowed the 10th fewest receptions out of 140 NFL cornerbacks. He ranks second on the Titans in passes defended and fifth in tackles.

Jamien Sherwood, LB, New York Jets

Sherwood led the Jets with 13 tackles, including six solo stops, and added 2.0 TFL against the Bills. The game marked his eighth double-digit tackle effort in the last two seasons and his total was tied for the third most in a game in his career. Coming off a year in which he was tied for the league lead in solo tackles (95) and voted the 2024 Jets MVP, Sherwood leads the team and ranks tied for 11th in the league with 19 stops through two weeks. With a run defense grade of 76.3, the 2025 team captain ranks 20th out of 111 linebackers.

Braden Smith, OL, Indianapolis Colts

Smith hasn’t allowed a quarterback hit this season and has helped pave the way for the second-best offense in the NFL, averaging 445 yards per game. The Colts are one of two offense to rank top five in the league in both passing and rushing offense. Having allowed just three pressures while playing every offensive snap this season, he has a PFF pass blocking grade of 67.7.
