AUBURN, Ala. – Averaging 4.83 kills per set and 5.58 points per set, sophomore outside hitter Lauren Dreves has been named SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Dreves has been lights out since the 2025 campaign began. The Vancouver, Washington native produced 14 kills with four digs on .244 hitting in a three-set sweep over in-state rival Alabama.
Two days later against Mississippi State, Dreves delivered 15 kills on her 40 swings with zero errors. With 13 digs, she tallied her third double-double as well as a career-high six blocks.
Across Auburn’s two sweeps, Dreves piled up 29 kills on .306 hitting, averaging 4.83 kills per set, 5.58 points, 2.83 digs and 1.17 blocks.
This season, Dreves is averaging single-season career bests in kills per set (4.05), hitting percentage (.305), points per set (4.52) and blocks per set (0.70).
The honor marks the first for Dreves and the second for head coach Brent Crouch and the Tigers this season. Kate Mansfield was awarded SEC Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 22.
