Being confronted with adversity isn't something we hadn't really had yet this fall, so this was a very important game for us. It's going to be a game that we're going to look back on and understand that we're going to take a lot of lessons from it.

Georgia Tech came out with a lot of energy. They were aggressive and felt like that put the pressure on us every inning. We had a hard time with that. It's not something we've seen yet, but it's something we're going to hold on to. A lot of times people will say that you just got to move on. We're not going to move on. We're going to make sure that we look into these lessons. It's good for some of our younger players to get a feel for that right now.

It was good to see Charley (Butler) do a really good job to start the game. It was good to see Malayna (Tamborra) be very aggressive and just go right after hitters. Ella (Harrison) settled into the circle after coming into the game. Offensively, I've been waiting for AnnaLea (Adams) to be AnnaLea. It was great to see her settle in and be who she is. We Continue to see some big things from McKaela (Walker) Haven (Roebuck) looked very steady as a freshman.(Kylie) Brockman is in a good space right now. She wants to do big things and is motivated by that. She's a competitor and did a great job of taking charge whenever she had the chance. Des (Rodriguez) did a great job of maximizing things in her at bats.

There was a lot of good, but we struggled taking care of the ball. It wasn't really from a lack of work. It's where our minds went when things started to go a crazy. You're on the road at a pretty intense environment, but it's something that we can spend a little more time on to address and troubleshoot. It's good to go through that. It gives us something that we need to look out for and be ahead of.
