AUBURN, Ala. – No. 6 Auburn women’s golf will compete in its final tournament of the fall schedule at The Nanea Invitational at Nanea Golf Club in Kailua, Hawaii. The 54-hole event will be held Monday through Wednesday. The Tigers enter the event after claiming the team title at the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational in their last outing.
At the Tar Heel Invitational, Auburn captured its second team victory of the season after shooting 5-under 835 and winning by 15 strokes. The convincing win helped boost the Tigers from No. 16 to No. 6 in the latest Scoreboard rankings released Wednesday.
Junior Anna Davis enters the event after winning the individual title at the Tar Heel Invitational. Davis carded a round under par all three days and earned SEC Player of the Week honors for her 7-under 203 performance.
Auburn will return the same lineup as its last event: Davis, Balma Dávalos, Anne Fernandez, Molly Brown Davidson and Charlotte Cantonis. The Tigers will be joined in the field by No. 1 Stanford, No. 10 Texas, No. 17 UCLA, No. 21 Arizona State, California, Washington, Oregon State, Hawaii, Colorado and San Jose State. Nanea Golf Club will play as a par 73 at 6,449 yards.
The shotgun start for the opening round is set for 12:30 p.m. CT. Live scoring will be available at scoreboard.clippd.com.
