KAILUA, Hawaii – Auburn junior Anna Davis won her second individual title in as many tournaments on Wednesday, earning co-champion honors at The Nanea Invitational at Nanea Golf Club in Kailua, Hawaii, after shooting 10-under 209. As a team, the No. 7 Tigers finished third at 21-under 855.
“Back-to-back wins for Anna!” Auburn head coach Melissa Luellen said after the round. “She had to get up and down from about 40 yards to tie for the win. She hit a beautiful spinning wedge to three feet.
“Proud of the final round from the team. A bit of a redemption round after yesterday’s struggles. A successful fall campaign. Some well-deserved rest for our ladies, then back to work for some offseason grind.”
Davis got off to a hot start in Round 1, carding a 7-under 66. She followed with rounds of 70 (-3) and 73 (E) to finish as co-champion. Davis won the individual title at Auburn’s previous event, the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational, and now has five victories in her college career.
The Auburn junior was 1-over on Wednesday heading into her final hole, then carded a birdie on No. 18 to pull into a tie for the lead with Meja Ortengren of Stanford and Cindy Hsu of Texas.
Auburn freshman Charlotte Cantonis recorded her best finish — and second top-10 showing of the season — finishing in a tie for fifth at 8-under 211. Cantonis opened with a 65 (-8) before posting a 2-over round on Tuesday. She bounced back with a 2-under 71 in her final round, which included four birdies.
Sophomores Bálma Dávalos and Anne Fernandez each tied for 22nd at 1-under 218. Both fired a 71 (-2) in Wednesday’s final round.
The Tigers finished 23 strokes behind team champion No. 1 Stanford, four shots behind No. 21 Arizona State, and two ahead of No. 10 Texas.
Of Auburn’s five fall events, the Tigers placed inside the top three in four tournaments, including two team victories.
The 2025-26 season will resume after the new year when Auburn travels to Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Florida, for the PDI Intercollegiate, Jan. 25-27.
