AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn women’s golf will compete in the Illini Women's Invitational at Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Illinois, on Monday and Tuesday. The Tigers enter the event after capturing the team title at the Canadian Collegiate Invitational last month.

At the Canadian Collegiate, Auburn sophomore Balma Dávalos earned a career-best finish, placing second at 6-under 138 through two rounds. Sophomore Anne Fernandez also recorded a strong finish, shooting 5-under 139 to tie for third place.

Dávalos and Fernandez will each return to the lineup this week alongside Anna Davis, Katie Cranston and Rachel Gourley. Charlotte Cantonis will compete as an individual. Last season at this event, Davis won the individual title after carding a 13-under 203 to win by three strokes. The Tigers finished third as a team.
