QUICK HITS
Auburn's block has been simply dynamic in 2025. At 3.17 blocks per set, the Tigers lead the Southeastern Conference and rank second in the nation. The Orange and Blue front row have collected double-digit rejections in nine matches this season, including a school record 20 against South Alabama.

Sophomore middle blocker Kate Mansfield has been the staple at the net for Crouch and Co. Mansfield's 1.70 blocks per set sits atop the SEC and is currently fifth in the country. Auburn has also received major contributions from fellow middle blocker Grace Havlicek and right side Bel Zimmerman. Havlicek's 1.26 blocks per set is the fifth-best in the conference, while Zimmerman isn't far behind at 1.12.

Second-year six-row outside Lauren Dreves has taken her game to the next level this season. The Vancouver, Washington product is averaging single-season career highs in kills per set (4.02), hitting percentage (.305), blocks per set (0.68) and points per set (4.47).

Dreves is one of only 14 players in the country averaging more than 4.00 kills per set while still hitting over .300.

Fellow outside Liz Markovska has been an equally impressive addition to the 2025 roster. Markovska has collected at least 10 kills in four straight matches, including a season-high 19 in just three sets against Mississippi State.

Auburn's middle attack has seen marketable improvement over the last few matches. At Ole Miss, Havlicek and Mansfield combined for seven kills on a .429 hitting percentage.

SCOUTING VANDERBILT
First-year head coach Anders Nelson brings Vanderbilt to the Plains for the first time in 45 years. The Commodores boast a 5-8 record, with a 1-3 mark in SEC play. However, Vanderbilt is coming off its first conference win after sweeping Arkansas on Sunday.

Junior outside hitter Kamryn Chaney has been the primary offensive weapon for the Commodores. Entering Friday, Chaney is averaging 3.86 kills per set and 4.57 points per set, the sixth-highest mark in the SEC. Chaney is also well above average at the service line. Her 25 aces this season are the second-most in the conference and her 0.51 aces per set is the third-highest average.

Middle blockers Jackie Moore and Kayla Dunlap have been effective when Vanderbilt is in system. Both are averaging north of a .300 hitting percentage.

Defensively, libero Hailee Mack has been stout in the back row. Her 3.78 digs per set represents the eighth-highest effort in the SEC.

AUBURN-VANDERBILT SERIES
It's been 45 years since Vanderbilt last sponsored Volleyball. Auburn owns a 6-0 record, including a 4-0 mark on the Plains in matches played from 1974-1980.
