AUBURN, Ala.— Two top-100 recruits will join the Auburn women’s basketball program for the 2026-27 season as head coach Larry Vickers announced the Tigers’ signing class Thursday.

Auburn will welcome Ashley Knox (6-0, Guard, Tampa, Fla.) and Zaniyah Williams (5-9, Guard, Norfolk, Va.)  to The Plains next season.

“We are really thrilled about adding these two young women to our program,” Vickers said. “We targeted hard-working and committed players who will fit in perfectly with the Auburn way. Threes will be raining in Neville.”

According to ESPN, Knox is the No. 72 prospect in the nation, and Williams is the No. 77 recruit nationally.

ASHLEY KNOX
Height: 6-0
Position: Guard
Hometown: Tampa, Fla.
High School: Tampa Catholic HS
Club: Central Florida Elite

Highlights: No. 72 prospect nationally according to ESPN … 4-star prospect according to 247Sports … Averaged 16.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.5 steals per game as a high school junior at Tampa Catholic … Comes from athletic family; her father, Kevin Knox, played football at Florida State and in the NFL, and all three of her brothers have played or are currently playing Division I basketball: Kevin (Kentucky, 2018 first-round NBA draft pick), Karter (Arkansas) and Kobe (South Carolina).

ZANIYAH WILLIAMS
Height: 5-9
Position: Guard
Hometown: Norfolk, Va.
High School: Montverde Academy (Fla.)
Club: West Virginia Thunder

Highlights: No. 77 prospect according to ESPN … Four-star prospect according to 247Sports … Playing her senior year at Montverde Academy in Florida after spending her junior year at Long Island Lutheran in New York, which was ranked No. 1 nationally in 2024 … Invited to Team USA U16 National Team trials in 2023 … Chose Auburn over offers from Duke, Florida, Michigan, Miami, Missouri, West Virginia and others.

Coach LV on Zaniyah: “Zaniyah has a chance to be really good on both ends. We're excited to help her become the PG that she wants to be. Her skill set allows her to play with anyone, be efficient and make others better.”
