AUBURN, Ala. –  Three members of the Auburn soccer team have been awarded College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Honors, as announced by CSC Tuesday.

The Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.50 GPA, have a minimum of one year completed at their current institution and have played in at least 90% of their team's contests from the current season.

Recognized from Auburn this season are Taylor Chism, Dylan Driver and Grace Ivey.

Chism was the Tigers’ Iron Woman on the pitch with a team-leading 1,554 minutes played. She and her fellow defenders held Auburn’s opponents to a single goal or less in all but four matches this season, which was crucial in the Tigers’ three results against top-20 competition as they held their own against No. 12 Mississippi State, No. 10 South Carolina and No. 19 Georgia. In the classroom, Chism posted a perfect 4.0 GPA while working toward her graduate certification in management information systems.

Macon, Georgia native Driver is the second Tiger to make the All-District squad. She boasts an impressive 3.94 GPA as she works toward her degree in biomedical sciences. Athletically, Driver appeared in all 18 matches and started 16 of them. She scored three goals against FGCU, Missouri and LSU and added on a team-leading seven assists.

Auburn’s final honoree is Ivey. The attacking midfielder from Jacksonville, Florida started every match of the season, tallying one goal and a trio of assists. Ivey scored the opening goal in Auburn’s road clash with Ole Miss, unleashing a rocket from the top of the box that found the upper corner of the far post. Her assists came versus Kennesaw State, at Mississippi State and at Alabama. As a student, Ivey is in pursuit of a degree in exercise science, where she’s managed a dazzling 4.0 GPA
