That and more in this week’s Auburn Made NFL Rundown

Carlton Davis III, CB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Davis made an impact in the Patriots' hard-fought 24-23 victory over the Falcons, registering five of his six tackles in the fourth quarter to help lead the division-leading Patriots to their sixth straight win and tying them for the best record in the AFC. The eighth-year pro posted a season high with six tackles, including five solo stops, and also tallied his third pass defended on the season and the 87th of his career. Davis improved his run defense grade for the season to 80.4 in 164 running snaps, which ranks sixth out of 98 qualifying cornerbacks. The 2020 Super Bowl champ now has 32 total tackles in nine games played this season.

Derick Hall, LB, Seattle Seahawks
Hall and the Seahawks defense held the Commanders to just 290 total yards and forced two turnovers in a dominant 38–14 win on Monday Night Football. The win propelled Seattle to a tie at the top of the NFC standings, winning six of their last seven games. In 27 snaps, Hall registered a season-high five tackles, including two solo stops. The former second-round pick also recorded his first tackle for loss of the season and the 10th of his career. His five total tackles are tied for the second most in his 41 career games. The former Tiger owns career best overall and run defense PFF grades through six games played.

Darius Slayton, WR, New York Giants
Slayton posted season highs in both receiving yards (62) and receptions (five), leading the Giants in receiving yards against the 49ers. The 2019 fifth-round draft pick hauled in a 24-yard reception to put New York in San Francisco territory to start the Giants’ eventual touchdown drive early in the fourth quarter. Slayton had 18 yards after catch and averaged 12.4 yards per reception. The 2025 team captain ranks third all-time among Auburn alumni in NFL receiving yards (4,151), trailing only Frank Sanders and Red Phillips. The sixth-year pro also ranks fourth in total receptions (278) on the list.
