AUBURN, Ala. – Senior Alexia Tordoff and junior Avery Glynn of the No. 1 Auburn equestrian team were honored by the Southeastern Conference Wednesday for their performances in the month of November as the pair picked of Rider of the Month honors.
Tordoff was recognized for her efforts in both Horsemanship and Reining, while Glynn earned the monthly award for her performance in Fences. The pair helped the Tigers pick up big wins against then-No. 2 South Carolina (Nov. 8) and then-No. 1 Georgia (Nov. 21).
Glynn, who was named the NCEA Fences Rider of the Month for November, went 2-0-0 in the event with big wins vs. the conference rivals..
The Petaluma, California product picked up MOP honors vs. South Carolina with a 91 and followed with another MOP performance against the Bulldogs with an 89. Her two victories moved her to 6-0-0 in Fences on the year.
Tordoff, of Powell, Ohio, went 2-0-0 in both Horsemanship and Reining for the Tigers. Her two Horsemanship victories pushed her to 6-0-0 in the event.
Against the Gamecocks, Tordoff opened the meet with an MOP performance in Reining with a 72-69.5 victory. She followed that up with a 75-73.5 win in Horsemanship to help the Tigers go unbeaten in the event.
In the final meet of the fall vs. the Bulldogs, Tordoff either set or tied career highs in her two events. She led off with a career-best 75 points in her one-point victory over her Bulldog opponent. She capped the night with an MOP performance in Horsemanship, tying a career high with 78.5 points for the win.
The top-ranked Tigers will return to competition on Jan. 31, 2026 at UT Martin at the Ned McWherter Agricultural Complex in Martin, Tennessee.
