KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Auburn senior Hayden Colson was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region Second Team on Tuesday as a result of her commanding defensive presence on the pitch throughout the 2025 season.

It is the first USC All-Region recognition of Colson’s career. She is the 11th Auburn woman since 2020 to receive the honor.

The Denton, Texas native started all 18 matches for the Tigers this season, totaling 1,514 minutes of action. She went the distance and played 90 minutes in all but four matches, which included a streak of 990 minutes without a substitute.

Thanks to Colson’s physicality and leadership, Auburn earned six clean sheets and held its opponents to a single goal or less on 14 occasions, which led to top-20 results against No. 12 Mississippi State, No. 10 South Carolina and No. 19 Georgia.

Colson concluded her collegiate career having started 76 of her 77 appearances. She scored two goals, assisted three others and contributed to 32 shutouts over her four years.

As a member of an All-Region team, Colson is eligible to be selected as an All-American. USC’s All-American teams will be announced later this week.
