AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn head coach Jordan Szabo released his team’s 2026 spring schedule on Tuesday. The dual match schedule will begin Jan. 11, Southeastern Conference play is set to begin Feb. 21 and the postseason will start April 14.
“Excited to get it going in the spring,” said Szabo. “We have a really challenging nonconference schedule, and playing in the premier conference of college tennis will get us ready for May.”
The Tigers’ nonconference schedule is highlighted by a home match against Georgia Tech on Jan. 20 and road matches against Oklahoma State and Michigan, which finished the 2025 season ranked No. 15 and No. 3, respectively. Due to reaching the NCAA Super Regionals last season, Auburn earned the opportunity to host Nevada, Florida State and Tulane at ITA Kickoff Weekend on the Plains Jan. 24-25.
In conference play, the Tigers will host Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Alabama, Missouri and Vanderbilt. The team will have SEC road trips to Florida, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, LSU, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas A&M and Texas.
The SEC Championship will kick off the 2026 postseason April 14-17, followed by the opening rounds of the NCAA Championship. This season, the final eight teams will travel to Athens, Georgia, to decide a national champion May 14-17 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
In Szabo’s first season at the helm in 2025, Auburn matched the program record for most wins in a season with 25 as well as the highest national ranking at No. 4 on Feb. 20. The team also earned the highest national seed ever in the NCAA Tournament at No. 9 and finished the season with a trip to the NCAA Super Regional round.
Auburn concluded the 2025 season ranked eighth by the ITA. Preseason ITA team rankings will be released Jan. 5, but the Tigers enter the year as the top-ranked women’s college program by UTR Sports.
