AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn soccer and head coach James Armstrong announced the addition of Price Loposer to the team’s coaching staff Tuesday. 

“I’m excited to come to Auburn and be part of this program and the deeply rooted tradition and community surrounding it,” Loposer said. “Having been in their shoes as a player, I understand the demands of commitment, preparation and competition. I’m eager to use that perspective to connect with and help develop these girls succeed on and off the field.”

As a player development coordinator, Loposer will assist with on-field training and weight room session coordination as well as provide travel and administrative support to the head coach and director of operations. 

“I am thrilled to welcome Price to our staff,” Armstrong said. “Having coached her, I have a deep understanding of her character, work ethic and her knowledge of what it takes to win at this level. Her career stats at the Power 4 level in the SEC & Big 10 speak volumes about the experience she brings. She will be able to relate well to the players and will serve as an excellent addition to our program.”

Loposer comes to The Plains after a long and successful career in the college game, having made 99 appearances and 88 starts in her stops at Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Iowa. She previously played for Armstrong at Mississippi State in 2024, when she helped the Bulldogs to their first-ever SEC Championship.

In her final season of eligibility at Iowa, Loposer appeared in all 21 of the Hawkeyes’ matches and started 20, helping the team to a 12-5-4 record. The defender scored one goal, assisted two others and contributed to 10 clean sheets, including a streak of five in a row. 

Her 62nd-minute golazo at Purdue earned the No. 3 spot on the SportsCenter Top 10 and was voted as the top play of the season in the BIG TEN. 

As a member of Mississippi State’s magical 19-3 run in 2024, Loposer appeared 22 times and started the team’s final 13 matches of the year. She led the Bulldogs to a school-record 16 shutouts and scored against Southern and Oklahoma and picked up an assist against Missouri. 

Loposer spent the 2020, 2021 and 2022 seasons in Oxford as a Rebel, where she appeared in 56 contests and earned 55 starts. She anchored a back line that posted 22 clean sheets over the three-year period. 

Over the course of her collegiate career, Loposer was recognized multiple times as a conference player of the week as well as a member of Top Drawer Soccer’s National Team of the Week. 

Loposer is a native of Madison, Mississippi, and a graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. She has a golden retriever named Bruce
