AUBURN, Ala. For leading Auburn to two massive road wins at Ole Miss and No. 16 Florida, senior Keyshawn Hall has been named the SEC Co-Player of the Week.

Hall averaged 21.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks per game in Auburn’s two wins and shares Co-Player of the Week honors with Tennessee’s Nate Ament.

Against the Rebels, Hall scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds with four assists. The national leader in free throws made (141), Hall did most of his damage at the charity stripe by going 11-of-12 at the line.

In Auburn’s first win in Gainesville since 1996, Hall shined in the first half by scoring 22 of his team-high 24 points in the first 20 minutes which helped the Tigers build a 15-point halftime lead. Hall finished with 24 points, seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and block.

Hall has scored at least 20 points in 11 of his 19 games played this season. Overall he is averaging 20.3 points and 7.6 rebounds per game and remains the only player in the SEC to rank top 10 in both categories (third in scoring, sixth in rebounding).

Hall and the Tigers (13-7, 4-3 SEC) return to Neville Arena this Wednesday to host Texas (12-8, 3-4 SEC) for the Rumble in the Jungle in which Auburn student will receive a free foam tiger paw. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. on ESPN2.
