AUBURN, Ala. – Manu Baptista Filipe became Auburn’s third player to ink their first professional contract this year when she signed with Sligo Rovers Football Club of Ireland’s Women’s National League Monday.
Baptista Filipe spent her final season on The Plains after several standout seasons at the Division II level at Wingate and Monroe University. At Auburn, the Santa Maria de Feira, Portugal native saw time off the bench in the midfield over five matches, which included a season-high 31 minutes in the Tigers’ 6-0 win over Kennesaw State.
Sligo Rovers Women are set to kickstart their 2026 campaign in early March.
