AUBURN, Ala. – Another member of Auburn soccer’s 2025 senior class joined the professional ranks Monday, when Erin Flurey signed to play for Thor/KA, a two-time championship side in Iceland’s top division.
“Signing my first professional contract means so much to me,” Flurey said. “It’s a goal I’ve been chasing since my very first college game, so reaching it feels incredibly special. I would not be here without the teammates and coaches who supported and pushed me across every stop in my journey. I’m extremely eager to begin this chapter and continue to grow as a player and as a person.”
Flurey, one of Auburn’s 2025 team captains, played her final season on The Plains after starting her career with stops at Syracuse and Florida State. She earned Third Team All-SEC honors after leading the Tigers with 24 points on 11 goals and two assists. Most notably, the Manchester, New Hampshire native was automatic from the penalty spot, converting five PK goals on five attempts to lead the NCAA. She finished her collegiate career a perfect nine of nine from the spot.
Early in the season, Flurey made Auburn history in the Tigers’ match against Kennesaw State, when she struck for four goals in a 33-minute span, scoring once with her left foot, twice with her right foot and once with her head to secure just the second haul in program history and the first since 1993.
Thor/KA begins its 2026 campaign later this spring.
